A Fishing Addiction!

Your guide Ben Collier has lived on the Kenai Peninsula for over 40 years and is a year-round resident.  He grew up in Seward, Alaska and has fished feverishly since learning to walk.  His dad would drop him off at the "snagging hole" in Seward before school, and then when he was in his teens, he got his first job on a Commercial fishing boat going to out to the Bering Sea to pot fish for King Crab. 

Ben spent 25 years commercial fishing far past Adak, Alaska on the Aleutian Chain, all the way to Yakutat, Alaska in the Gulf.  He has fished all the rivers and creeks that time would allow on the Islands of the Aleutian Chain and throughout Kodiak and the Gulf of Alaska.  His time home was spent on the rivers of the Kenai Peninsula where he truly became a master of his fishing craft.  Ben "retired" from Commercial fishing and decided that he would share his knowledge and passion teaching and became your fishing guide.  

He has dedicated thousands of hours on the river to research and development.  He knows where to be and when to be there.  We catch!  Delivering coolers of fish as well as unforgettable memories!
